Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a well-established standalone Skilled Nursing Facility in Lockport, NY . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents improve their communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Educate residents and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress.

Qualifications

• Current New York Speech-Language Pathologist license.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.

• Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
