Description

• Implement focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions addressing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to form a seamless continuity of care.
• Provide education to patients and families to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Facilitate occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a smooth treatment process.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
