About the Role:
As a Locum Physician in Pediatric Anesthesiology, you will deliver expert anesthesia care in a busy hospital setting, supporting a dedicated team of professionals. The assignment runs from August 10 to November 16, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will supervise CRNAs in a collaborative care model, manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 surgical cases daily, and provide anesthesia services across all age groups from neonatal to adult. This role offers a compelling blend of meaningful work, professional growth, and community engagement in Dayton.


Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology with Pediatric experience
• Active medical license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven expertise in pediatric anesthesia and adult cases
• Ability to supervise CRNAs effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with a high-volume surgical environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Familiarity with care team models incorporating CRNAs
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Minimum of 2+ years in a hospital-based anesthesia setting

Other Requirements:

• Internal credentialing confirmation (if applicable)
• Up-to-date licensure, DEA, CSR, and life certifications
• CAQH login credentials
• Ability to undergo fingerprinting and background checks promptly
• Travel arrangements made in accordance with facility policies, including mileage, lodging, and flight reimbursements
