What You'll Need:

• Valid medical license and DEA certification in Ohio
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine with pediatric focus
• Proven experience in pediatric emergency medicine, ideally in a high-volume, Level I trauma setting
• Strong skills in supervision of APPs and residents
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to respond promptly within 60 minutes to emergency calls
• Willingness to supervise paramedics and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in academic or teaching hospital environments
• Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Experience with complex trauma cases and extensive pediatric diagnostics

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2+ years of emergency medicine experience, with pediatrics preferred
• Credentialed or able to secure credentialing within 120 days

Other Requirements:

• Availability to cover shifts starting on 05/23/2026
• Travel reimbursements including flight, lodging, and car rental (local providers preferred)
• Ability to provide necessary documentation promptly, including license, certifications, CAQH login, and personal information
