Senior Field Sales Manager

Overview PHI Health is the leading air ambulance provider in the United States, with an unmatched safety record and teams of aviation, medical and communication specialists. The company transports more than 22,000 patients each year from over 80 bases while also providing outreach and education to local communities and healthcare systems. Job Summary The Senior Sales Manager is a key driver of membership growth at PHI Cares, focusing on selling and promoting membership services to individuals, families and organizations nationwide. The role develops and nurtures relationships with prospective and existing members, represents PHI Health at community events, corporate meetings and local business engagements, and leads field sales efforts within an assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. Provide sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. Train and onboard new sales team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge. Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to effectively position the company's products and services. Continuously improve sales processes and methodologies using best practices. Compensation & Benefits Base salary, travel stipend, uncapped commission and a comprehensive benefits package. Location & Travel The position requires travel throughout the assigned territory – Redding, CA. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required); higher education in business or related field preferred. 5+ years of outside sales experience. 3+ years of previous industry sales experience. Demonstrated track record of success in B2B sales to companies with 100 or more employees. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals individually and in a team setting. Positive, upbeat demeanor and high level of professionalism, honesty and drive. Proven ability to develop sales talent. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, organization and multi‑tasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and SaaS CRM software. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
