The counseling center operates from Monday to Saturday, providing both you and your clients with various scheduling options. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Beautiful Minds Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, leading to tailored treatment plans that reflect client needs.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities, to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals.

• Collaborating with colleagues during patient rounds to discuss assessments, treatment plans, and to ensure a cohesive interdisciplinary care strategy.

• Delivering consistent and professional case management for assigned clients, connecting them to additional resources while maintaining ethical standards in documentation and practice.

• Monitoring and documenting progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on client feedback and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will leverage your expertise to provide tailored support that recognizes the unique circumstances and histories of each client, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Holds a valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Possesses a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Is open to committing between 10 to 40 clinical hours per week, offering flexible session scheduling to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, ideally within an outpatient setting, where you have demonstrated effective counseling techniques and therapeutic rapport with clients. Experience in managing complex cases and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams is highly valued.
