Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients in detoxification, utilizing standardized tools and methods to identify needs and strengths.

• Collaborate with team members to monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to improve effectiveness and support recovery.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing support and education to families to enhance their capacity to support their loved one’s recovery journey.

• Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches to engage clients and promote learning in a supportive manner.

• Develop trusting relationships with clients and their families, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere that encourages open communication and growth.

• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, which often includes working with those dealing with both substance use disorders and underlying mental health issues. This role requires sensitivity and a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with detox, including the emotional, psychological, and social factors that influence recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in California.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in social work, particularly with children and families in crisis or early intervention settings.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
