Seeking a skilled Cath Lab/EP Technician to perform routine and specialized procedures within a high-volume cardiac care environment. The ideal candidate will support patient care through technical expertise and collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab and electrophysiology equipment during procedures.
- Assist physicians with invasive cardiac interventions, ensuring procedural accuracy and safety.
- Prepare and maintain procedural carts, sterilizing and setting up equipment as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals and condition throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes.
- Document procedures thoroughly in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines consistently.
- Hold a valid state license or certification as a Cath Lab/EP Technician.
- Possess a minimum of 1+ year of recent experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology lab.
- Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR and specialized cardiac equipment.
- Be willing to work variable shifts, including call and weekend responsibilities.
- Maintain current ACLS and BLS certification.
- Show strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced clinical environments.
