We’re looking for someone who likes to win, isn’t afraid to hunt, and enjoys figuring out how to open doors that aren’t always obvious.

Every commercial building needs HVAC. The opportunity is everywhere—but finding it takes someone who is curious, persistent, resourceful, confident, and willing to figure things out.

You might be talking to a facility manager one day, a building owner the next, and a property manager the day after that. Your job is to find the right people, build the relationship, uncover the need, and create the opportunity.

This is not a role where you sit around waiting for leads. You’ll use online research, data, technology, networking, creative outreach, cold calls, in-person visits, and good old-fashioned relationship building to find business and make things happen.

What You’ll Do

About 80% of your time will be spent out in the market building relationships and creating opportunities. The other 20% will be spent coordinating with our internal team.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Researching companies, buildings, owners, facility managers, property managers, and other decision-makers
• Finding and developing warm and cold opportunities
• Making calls, sending outreach, and getting in front of people
• Building relationships and earning trust
• Following up and staying in the game when the answer is “ not right now ”
• Working with our coordinators, dispatchers, and field technicians to understand customer needs and real-time equipment issues
• Developing proposals and estimates
• Negotiating and closing business
• Following up after the sale and making sure the customer has a great experience
• Transitioning established customers to our account management team as relationships grow

The Sales Cycle

Not every opportunity moves quickly—and that’s part of the game.

A sales cycle can be anywhere from one month to a year. Some customers have an immediate need and can move quickly. Others have maintenance agreements already in place and may not request a proposal until that agreement is nearing expiration.

Property managers can be a different story. With multiple properties and equipment replacement needs happening throughout the year, there can be opportunities much sooner.

The key is knowing how to stay connected, keep the relationship moving, and recognize when the opportunity is ready.

You don’t have to know everything about commercial HVAC on day one. An understanding of mechanical systems is helpful, but we can teach the right person the technical side. What matters most is that you’re smart, curious, competitive, relational, and willing to figure it out.

Where This Can Go

This role is designed to grow. As you establish successful customer relationships, you’ll have the opportunity to move into an Account Manager role.
