Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California physical therapy (PT) license required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage a flexible, districtwide schedule and travel to multiple locations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and varying physical needs
• Organizational skills to track service notes and student progress
• Comfortable managing a small caseload spread across several school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress evaluations to students across up to a dozen school locations
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt and implement physical therapy strategies to match each student’s unique needs and goals
• Foster an inclusive and positive school environment through your expertise and encouragement
