St. Luke's Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a full-time  Surgical Scrub Technician to work out of our  Tarpon Springs location. Surgical Scrub Technician experience is required.

About the Position St. Luke’s Surgical Center performs multi-subspecialty ophthalmic surgery. The surgical scrub technician’s role and responsibility is to provide necessary and appropriate equipment, instruments and supplies during ophthalmic surgery with the surgeon, nurses and staff.

Requirements:

  Job Skill & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required
• A minimum of one year of experience as a surgical scrub technician in an operating room is preferred.
• Experience in the cleaning and sterilization of instruments required
• Must be mobile in a surgery procedure; walking, sitting, standing, bending and stretching
• Perform general duties and other functions as required or assigned
