Our bustling car dealership seeks a capable and organized automotive service advisor who will work full-time to address customer concerns, develop cost estimates, and calculate cost savings for customers. Our ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and loves greeting customers. 60,000 - 100000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Appropriately file all automotive documents such as maintenance records, invoices, repair orders, and more
- Follow up after completed service appointments to ensure customers are satisfied with vehicle repairs
- Communicate necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointments by explaining automotive technology in a clear, digestible manner
- Oversee the schedule for service department technicians’ repairs
- Arrange for timely vehicle pick-up at the dealership following the completion of work orders
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory
- Possession of a valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is integral
- Must have problem-solving and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other fundamental programs
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
- Prior experience in a service advisor role not required but is highly preferred
