Senior Application Analyst

Abbott seeks a Senior Application Analyst to design, configure, and support business systems within the Cancer Diagnostics division. The role involves managing technology platform upgrades, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with stakeholders to align business needs with system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead estimation of enhancement and support requests; guide workflow design and system change testing
- Serve as primary support contact for application end-users; troubleshoot issues and perform impact analysis
- Liaise with business stakeholders and software vendors to ensure alignment of needs with system delivery
- Mentor junior analysts, delegate tasks, and act as incident resolution delegate for Applications Manager
- Identify operational workflow improvement opportunities and drive continuous process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or high school diploma with 4+ years relevant experience
- 5+ years developing or configuring technology solutions in application analyst or project delivery roles
- Subject matter expertise in patient identification, revenue cycle, CRM, patient registration, or lab order entry workflows
- Epic software application certification obtainable within 8 weeks of hire
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and cross-functional communication
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and ability to mentor peers
