Work Environment\n

This role operates within an outpatient office setting, with the flexibility to work remotely. Our remote infrastructure is designed to empower you to manage your schedule efficiently while providing the highest standard of care to your clients. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet client needs.

• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and establish actionable, personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Employ evidence-based techniques and therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic techniques, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.

• Document client interactions meticulously and maintain updated records in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
\n
• Engage clients in one-on-one sessions, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and develop plans for ongoing support in crisis situations.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Lightheaded Counseling, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing personal challenges, couples navigating relational conflicts, and families seeking to enhance their dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience delivering clinical social work services in a therapeutic setting.

• Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans based on individual client needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family systems therapy, trauma-informed care, or other specialized modalities is preferable but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
