Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Braintree MA. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8 AM - 6 PM. Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour Job Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, commuters, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or public‑facing spaces while verifying credentials, screening visitors as directed, and supporting post orders related to government operations. Support emergency and incident response by coordinating with site contacts, public agencies, and/or Allied Universal leadership while maintaining detailed, accurate activity logs and incident reports. Minimum Requirements: Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
