Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify impairments and functional limitations, while establishing tailored treatment goals in accordance with physicians' orders.

• Document all evaluations, treatments, and progress notes clearly and concisely, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, as well as organizational protocols.

• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, ensuring optimal delivery of patient care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive treatment plans and improve patient outcomes through regular communication and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
