Kinetic Ease PT is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive rehabilitation team in Norfolk, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our rehabilitation facility located in Norfolk, Virginia, where you will collaborate with a small team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). You will benefit from a collegial atmosphere where knowledge-sharing and patient focus are at the forefront of our mission. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities, which may include manual therapy, exercise programs, and pain management techniques.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, maintaining quality care while maximizing productivity.
• Implement evidence-based practices to help patients regain range of motion, improve strength, and facilitate recovery.
• Encourage patients to embrace a proactive approach to their health by inspiring them to achieve their best physical performance during treatment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain precise records of patient care services, treatment outcomes, and progress within the electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

We cater to a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, sports-related conditions, and chronic pain. It is essential to deliver care that reduces reliance on prescription medications and explores non-surgical alternatives, fostering a pathway to recovery through physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state Physical Therapist License with no reports of disciplinary action.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential for patient treatment.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Dedication to ongoing education and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with a range of physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Experience working within a collaborative healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
