Work Environment

At Body Holistics Rehab Center, our work environment is dynamic and collaborative. The physical therapist will work onsite within a collective setting that promotes communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, with shift options from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance. With a focus on outpatient care, you will be involved in providing direct patient interventions in a welcoming and modern facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to identify their individual needs, mobility challenges, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs tailored to each patient's specific situation.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring focused attention on each patient, fostering strong therapeutic relationships, and monitoring progress effectively.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall functional movement; effectively educate patients on the importance of these exercises.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to optimize interdisciplinary treatment strategies.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate documentation of services and patient progress tracking, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects, adapt plans as necessary, and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle and prevention strategies that minimize reliance on surgical interventions and medications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on outpatient rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes recovering from injuries, to individuals with chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life through holistic and tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possess a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, exhibiting a clean record with no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong competency in multiple manual therapy techniques and a proven track record in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive patient relationships and motivate individuals in their rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, preferably within a sports medicine or orthopedic context.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and staying updated with the latest rehabilitation techniques and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
