Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their specific goals and needs.
• Provide one-on-one, individualized care, maintaining a manageable patient load to ensure that each patient receives the attention they deserve.
• Employ effective orthopedic outpatient care techniques, informed by previous experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Utilize various manual therapy modalities and exercises aimed at enhancing patients' mobility while promoting non-surgical alternatives.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate evidence-based treatment strategies and innovative therapeutic exercises.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive outlook and commitment to recovery.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and modify care plans based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Document patient care services accurately and maintain detailed records using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver integrated patient care.
• Promote the importance of fitness and wellness in improving overall patient health through education and tailored fitness programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation.
• Deep understanding of contemporary physical therapy methodologies supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly within sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated capability in devising creative therapeutic strategies to engage and motivate patients.
• Experience with a collaborative approach to patient care, working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
