Vital Strength PT is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist who embodies a passion for improving the quality of life for patients. A licensed Physical Therapist will work within our productive clinical environment in Norfolk, Virginia, providing evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation services.

We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) who share the vision of outstanding patient care. Our facility is committed to providing specialized rehabilitation services, especially for athletes and active individuals.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite, focusing primarily on home care. The facility covers an extensive area of 5,000 square feet, ensuring ample space for effective patient interaction and therapy sessions. You will be collaborating closely with a small team of professionals, enabling a supportive atmosphere where innovative approaches to patient care are encouraged. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the unique needs and recovery goals of each patient with a personalized approach.
• Deliver an average of 2-3 patient sessions per hour, ensuring each individual receives tailored care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective treatment plans.
• Promote non-surgical options for recovery, reducing dependency on prescription medication.
• Create comprehensive care plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities to optimize recovery.
• Craft tailored fitness and wellness regimens that support individual goals and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient care and treatment outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to align treatment strategies and enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly, adjusting plans based on progress.
• Encourage patients to develop physical strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through continuous engagement.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• A valid state Physical Therapist license, with no record of board or disciplinary actions against it.
• Proficient manual therapy skills are essential for delivering high-quality care.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is a must to streamline patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred, particularly within a dynamic clinical environment.
• A track record of developing and implementing successful patient recovery plans.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independent decision-making capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Vital Strength PT is proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
