Kinetic Ease PT is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team at our Chesapeake, Virginia, Rehabilitation Center. Our 5000 square foot rehabilitation center is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment options and incorporates evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We leverage comprehensive programs focusing on the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries, aiming for enhanced patient mobility and overall wellness.

Work Environment

The work environment at Kinetic Ease PT encourages collaboration and continuous learning among our healthcare professionals. You will be part of a dynamic team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, within a friendly and supportive atmosphere conducive to both personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs, goals, and capabilities.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a broad range of therapeutic modalities to enhance physical function.
• Provide therapy for 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality and focused attention during each session.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and innovative rehabilitation strategies to improve patient range of motion and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, analyzing treatment outcomes and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Work in synchrony with other medical specialists to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's recovery.
• Educate and inspire patients to adopt healthier lifestyles through tailored fitness and wellness routines.
• Promote non-pharmaceutical treatment options, aiming to reduce reliance on prescription medications.
• Regularly record patient services and communicate advancements to relevant stakeholders.
• Exhibit professionalism and uphold ethical standards in patient care while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse clientele at Kinetic Ease PT, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries and individuals seeking rehabilitation for various musculoskeletal conditions. We also cater to patients with chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and those looking to improve their overall fitness and wellness. Our focus is on providing personalized, patient-centered care, enabling each individual to achieve their unique health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state Physical Therapist License with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with current therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and encourage patients.
• A commitment to continuous education and staying abreast of the latest industry trends.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or sports medicine setting will be a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute individualized treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
