Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our patients through personalized rehabilitation programs in an orthopedic outpatient setting. As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve optimal functionality.

Work Environment

You will work in a welcoming and motivating environment alongside a team of dedicated professionals, including two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The center operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with patient appointments typically scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We provide facilities and tools that facilitate collaborative care and encourage continual learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific objectives and needs, ensuring individualized treatment plans are created accordingly.
• Manage a caseload effectively, averaging one patient per hour, to provide focused and efficient care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to deliver cost-effective treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Foster a recovery process that encourages patients to explore non-surgical options, while also reducing reliance on medications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing various treatment techniques, tailored specifically to each patient.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyles, strengthening flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients to motivate and support them throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Regularly analyze treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and sustain meticulous documentation of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions necessitating outpatient physical therapy. You will help patients of various ages and backgrounds, each seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions impacting their mobility. Your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation will be vital in nurturing their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to practice in our facility.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia is mandatory.
• Must maintain a clean professional history with no board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques to aid in recovery.
• Exceptional skills in constructing and executing customized exercise protocols based on patient evaluations.
• Familiarity with using WebPT EMR Software is preferred to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• A history of successful patient outcomes and positive feedback in rehabilitation settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient and team relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year.
