Our clinic features a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility, equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities. Our professional team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a commitment to excellence in patient care and outcomes.

Work Environment

The clinic is a warm and welcoming environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged. As a Physical Therapist, you will work full-time onsite, from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM. Your caseload will typically include one patient per hour, allowing for focused attention and specialized treatment plans catered to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set achievable goals, ensuring tailored treatment interventions.
• Provide cost-effective physical therapy services aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness plans that support rehabilitation and promote preventive care.
• Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Engage patients in their treatment plans, motivating them to adhere to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain clear and open communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices in orthopedics to continually improve patient care.

Our clinic primarily serves individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. The patient demographic is diverse, including athletes, active adults, and older individuals seeking to maintain mobility and independence. Your expertise will be crucial in determining effective treatment strategies that cater to each patient's specific circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Norfolk, VA, without any board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise regimen development.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While newly graduated therapists are encouraged to apply, prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
