Pediatric Gastroenterology Faculty (Open Rank)
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Motility Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician with expertise in Pediatric GI motility disorders to join our expanding Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition team. This position will provide clinical support for our GI motility disorders program, with a particular emphasis on lower GI motility disorders. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.
Position Highlights:
- Key role includes Medical Director of the Colorectal and Pelvic Care Program, a multidisciplinary collaboration with Pediatric Surgery
- Perform diagnostic motility procedures, including anorectal and colonic manometry
- Opportunity to shape and strengthen a high-demand, specialty program
- Engage in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly work within a growing academic division
- This position is focused within the Milwaukee campus, with potential involvement with a satellite clinic.
Schedule:
- Full-time faculty (1.0 FTE/0.9 FTE Clinical)
- Salaried (Exempt) or Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Department/Division Highlights:
Our Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition program is ranked in the top 20 of US News and World Report and is recognized as one of the premier pediatric gastroenterology programs in the country for our clinical and research excellence. We have extensive subspecialty expertise with services provided throughout the North and Southeast regions of Wisconsin, as well as a referral base nationally. Our program is comprised of 25 faculty members, 8 APNP's and 6 fellows who partner with a team of specialized nurse clinicians, dietitians, social workers, pediatric psychologists, and research staff.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology specialty.
- Unrestricted State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
- Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
