A part-time position is available to support students from PreK through 8th grade at a charter school near Las Vegas, NV, for the 2024-2027 academic years. This vital in-person role spans from August 10 to May 21, providing essential therapeutic services that help children access their education and achieve their fullest potential.

Ideal candidates are skilled in providing physical therapy within educational settings and are adaptable, collaborative, and dedicated to supporting young learners' growth. You’ll enjoy a dynamic environment focused on meaningful outcomes and teamwork with fellow educators and professionals.

Qualifications:

• Current Nevada Physical Therapy licensure or ability to obtain before start date
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare PT environments
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Comfortable working with PreK-8th grade students
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and family members

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services as outlined in student IEPs and care plans
• Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise
• Educate staff and families on techniques and strategies for student success
• Adapt activities and environments to optimize accessibility and participation
• Remain current on best practices, compliance, and state regulations
