Supply Chain - Material Program Manager - MPM - Staff - Level 4

Job Overview Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Supply Chain team seeks a Material Program Manager – Staff to oversee subcontractor management across all contract types and programs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. The role involves directing all phases of the subcontract lifecycle, from business case development to contract closeout, and leading cross‑functional teams to deliver program milestones. Core Responsibilities Manage subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors and critical subcontracted systems. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Direct and manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements. Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans addressing program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Act as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Direct all phases of the subcontract from make‑or‑buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Establish milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel. Basic Qualifications Experience in formal project management methodologies, system analysis tools, processes, and methods. Experience preparing data, metrics, and charts for and presenting to Executive Leadership and/or external customers. Desired Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or at least nine years of professional experience in a Supply Chain Management related field. Experience working in secure environments. Experience with Truth and Negotiation Action (TINA) and commercial contract FAR guidelines. Experience negotiating contracts to closure and reporting status to Executive Leadership and external customers. Experience developing long‑term strategies (financial planning, leading a team, corrective action, process improvements). Experience working in SAP and other Supply Chain systems, tools, and analytics. Experience with demand reconciliation. Experience as a Team Lead for procurement, integration, or material management teams. Location & Travel Fort Worth, TX. Occasional travel may be required (~10%). The position is at a facility that requires special access; applicants must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
