We are a small, growing company based in Ashland, Virginia looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help operate our embroidery department and support production.

Position Summary

The Embroidery & Production Specialist will be responsible for preparing embroidery files, operating commercial embroidery equipment, monitoring production quality, and helping move customer orders efficiently through the production process.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can stay organized while managing multiple projects.

Previous embroidery experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare embroidery files and production jobs
• Operate commercial Tajima embroidery machines
• Hoop, load, and unload products for embroidery
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues
• Perform quality control checks throughout production
• Trim threads and inspect finished products
• Organize materials and work orders
• Assist with production scheduling and workflow management
• Help maintain a clean, organized production area
• Support additional production tasks as needed

• Comfortable using computers and learning production software
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical work
• Experience with embroidery, sewing, manufacturing, production, printing, apparel decoration, or related fields is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $18-$22 per hour based on experience
• Full-time position
• Paid training
