Rehabilitation Coordinator, Football

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Rehabilitation Coordinator, Football. This is a full-time, contract position with a targeted annual of $94,500.00 with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation and Associate Director Sports Medicine - Football, the Football Rehabilitation Coordinator will direct and deliver physical therapy and rehabilitation services to student-athletes with primary focus on Football. Evaluate and treat acute, chronic, and postsurgical cases. Responsible for oversight of all Football rehabilitation efforts, procurement and development of post-surgical protocols, liaise with surgeons on matters of concern and development of department philosophy/direction as it pertains to rehabilitation in consultation with the Director of Rehabilitation, Team Physicians, Team Athletic Trainer(s) and Associate Director of Sports Medicine - Football. Will hold administrative responsibilities as assigned. If a dual credentialed professional (PT/ATC), would also provide services as a certified athletic trainer at the direction of the Associate Director of Sports Medicine - Football. *Employment is contingent upon completion of a satisfactory background check performed by Universal Background Screening and UCLA Athletics. All applicants should demonstrate the following abilities: Master’s degree required; Doctoral degree preferred; Experience in use of MSKUS for the evaluation and diagnosis of soft tissue injuries – Ideally holds RMSK Credential preferred; Experience in NCAA Division I athletics, Power 4 Football experience is preferred; Licensed as Physical Therapist as recognized by the State of California is required; Earned Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy is required; Current Professional Rescuer (FA/CPR/AED) is required; Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing as recognized by the NATABOC is preferred; Certified Manual Therapist credential is preferred; Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist is preferred; Managerial and supervisory experience; Demonstrated evidence of advanced coursework in treatment and rehabilitation; Ability to maintain accurate and professional treatment records; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with professional staff, administrators, students, coaches, physicians, and supervisors; Ability to perform under stress and maintain composure in the face of resistance, indifference, or hostility; Ability to write clear and concise business/research reports; Demonstrated computer literacy; Knowledge of general University policies and procedures; Working knowledge of University purchasing policies and procedures; Knowledge of NCAA and Conference rules and regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr UCLA Intercollegiate Athletics
