Sales Administrator

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients’ sales operations across both domestic and export markets. Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will manage customer accounts, process orders accurately, and coordinate with manufacturing, logistics and finance to ensure orders are delivered on time.

Capable administrators, willing to learn sales administration responsibilities are encouraged to apply as training can be provided.

What You Can Expect:

• Salary: £25,000 - £32,000, DOE
• Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Full-time position
• Applicants seeking part-time hours are encouraged to apply, although flexibility to cover additional hours during busier periods is required

What You Will Be Doing:

• Main point of contact for customer sales enquiries
• Process customer orders accurately using the company's ERP and CRM systems
• Track orders from receipt to delivery and keep customers updated on progress
• Work with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure orders are delivered on time and invoices are issued correctly
• Prepare export documentation, including customs invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other shipping documents for international orders
• Keep customer records, pricing, and product information up to date
• Support the sales team by preparing quotations, providing lead times, and communicating with customers
• Monitor order progress, delivery schedules, and customer feedback
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Help improve sales administration processes and ways of working

What We Are Looking For:‍

• Proven experience in internal sales administration, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with CRM experience, preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and responsibilities
