As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly in English and Spanish, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:45 AM - 06:15 PMFri10:45 AM - 06:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a public museum location. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
