Event Operations Manager

Responsibilities Host special events; manage your team of event hosts; oversee all setup of appropriate areas. Work with the Sales staff and Operations team to create a seamless event experience that encourages repeat bookings. Make a personal connection with your event contact and ensure all guests’ needs are exceeded. Ensure the completion of all event reporting and use guest feedback to continuously improve satisfaction. Utilize the client database to forecast events and schedule staff appropriately; counsel and discipline staff per HR guidelines and policies. Be available to work varying shifts, from weekends to holidays, and extend workdays as needed. Qualifications You’re an event professional who understands that great parties depend on satisfied guests. You have experience leading a team, strong hospitality industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You are flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended days. Desired Skills 1+ year of Management Experience 2+ years as Banquet Captain Bachelor’s degree Knowledge of F&B and Hospitality Industry Broad experience in Event Planning and Execution Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software (preferred) Knowledge of POS register systems Work Environment / Physical Demands Typical entertainment environment where you will walk, bend, stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance. Benefits The approximate pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00 per hour plus commission (extension sales sold, lane reservation extensions sold) and eligible for a quarterly incentive kicker of $1,500 (group and lane NPS). Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, skills, and location.
