Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider
Full-time Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider role for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Work in a busy urgent care clinic serving patients of all ages with acute non-life-threatening conditions. New graduates are welcome to apply — no minimum experience strictly required, though relevant clinical experience is helpful.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage acute illness and injuries that do not require emergency room care (minor infections, sprains, lacerations, urgent medical complaints).
- Perform common urgent care procedures such as: suturing and wound closure, incision & drainage of abscesses, soft casting or splinting, foreign body removal.
- Interpret x-rays and basic diagnostics as part of urgent care workflows.
- Provide patient education, clinical documentation, and care coordination in an outpatient urgent care environment.
Typical Schedule:
Extended clinic hours, generally:
- Monday–Friday: 7 am–7 pm (12-hour shifts)
- Saturday–Sunday: 7 am–3 pm (8-hour shifts)
- Schedule may vary depending on practice needs.
