Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, providing proactive communication and support throughout the therapeutic process.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using the clinical models established by Positive Progress, including Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
\n
• Lead Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups, ensuring that families feel engaged and informed during their journey.
\n
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in adherence to established standards and timelines.
\n
• Utilize technology effectively, entering and managing data in platforms such as Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR) to enhance client care.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision to foster a collaborative team environment and support network.
\n
• Represent Positive Progress at meetings, training events, and conferences as required, contributing to the organization's visibility and outreach.

• Independently manage your schedule to fulfill clinical and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on adolescents and young adults, assisting them through challenges related to mental health, family dynamics, and personal development. With an emphasis on building authentic connections and mutual respect, you will provide a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate issues such as trauma, anxiety, and challenges related to substance abuse.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution, or enrollment in a Doctoral program is required.

• Must be board registered as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Psychological Associate in New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing individual, group, or family therapy to adolescents and young adults is essential.

• Familiarity with mental health issues, including trauma-informed care, substance abuse, and eating disorders, is preferred to better support our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, with opportunities for additional income through commission on client sessions. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
