Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and highly skilled Electrical Patent Agent to join their team in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with leading global technology companies and stay at the forefront of patent law developments. Duties Prosecute patent applications for global technology companies. Collaborate with clients and other professionals. Conduct case discussions with clients. Stay informed on the latest developments in patent law. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent. One to three years of patent prosecution experience as a licensed patent agent in semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunication, digital/analog signal processing, artificial intelligence, software, and/or circuit design. Registration to practice before the USPTO. Strong technical writing and analytical skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Fluency in Taiwanese Mandarin and extensive knowledge of Taiwan business culture strongly preferred. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
