A law firm seeks a Compensation and Benefits Attorney with over five years of experience to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves advising on executive compensation and employee benefits, particularly for private equity sponsors in acquisitions and divestitures. Duties Advise on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Represent private equity sponsors in acquisitions and divestitures. Handle day-to-day portfolio company matters, including incentive awards and employment arrangements. Manage mergers and acquisitions involving privately held companies. Requirements 5+ years of relevant legal experience. Experience with IRC Sections 280G and 409A. Excellent academic credentials. Superior writing, oral communication, and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the state of California. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
