Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $3030 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
- Management of vasoactive drips.

Unit Details:
- Patient ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 PM or 1:4 AM, 1:5 PM (with patient care techs).
- Typically total RN-based care with no techs; unit secretaries are scheduled 7am-7pm in the PCU and are available as resources.
- Uses BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps.
- Central Line or PICC line placement.
- Designated Education Unit.
- New cardiac monitors allow visual of cardiac rhythm in each room.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred.
- Every 3rd weekend rotation. Rotating holiday schedule.

Floating Requirements:
- May float to MedSurg units.
