Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Balanced Counseling Agency, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' emotional, social, and environmental challenges, utilizing tools such as the Biopsychosocial assessment model.

• Developing individualized service plans that identify specific goals, outline interventions, and provide mechanisms for progress monitoring.

• Offering personalized counseling sessions tailored to the unique circumstances of individuals and families experiencing substance use challenges and their related issues.

• Providing crisis intervention and risk assessment support, including safety planning for clients in immediate distress.

• Collaborating with clients to connect them with appropriate community resources, ensuring access to necessary services such as housing assistance, support groups, and healthcare providers.

• Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care effectively with other professionals involved in the treatment process.

• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about substance use and promote the agency's services.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of individuals who are undergoing detoxification and need integrated support for both their mental health and substance use challenges. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
