We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center located in beautiful Irvine, California. In this pivotal role, you will support patients on their journey toward improved mobility and functionality. Situated in a spacious 5000 square feet facility, we pride ourselves on utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to meet our patients' needs. Our team comprises highly skilled professionals committed to fostering recovery and enhancing the quality of life for our clientele, primarily covered by private insurance, ensuring a focused and personalized approach to each individual we serve.

Work Environment

Your role will be performed onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation facility that promotes a collaborative and patient-centered atmosphere. You will be part of a supportive environment consisting of a small, dedicated team of physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, your schedule allows for a balanced work-life, accommodating both patient needs and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and set customized treatment goals.
• Manage an average patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention and quality care while applying diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans aimed at improving functional abilities and mobility, utilizing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Incorporate innovative approaches and modalities in your practice to facilitate recovery and enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate and educate patients on their rehabilitation journey, instilling confidence and guiding them toward achieving functional objectives.
• Engage in continuous assessments to track patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on evolving needs.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and optimize patient recovery.
• Promote preventative health strategies and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements, enhancing overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The position focuses primarily on orthopedic patients experiencing a range of musculoskeletal issues. Our clientele often includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions seeking to regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. Your efforts will directly impact their success, as you will play a vital role in implementing effective rehabilitation strategies that consider their unique situations and challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, preferably holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Unblemished professional history with no disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a physical therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing tailored exercise regimens to facilitate patient recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
