Work Environment

This position requires onsite presence within our orthopedic rehabilitation facility in Irvine, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet dynamic environment conducive to professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, measuring treatment outcomes and patient progress regularly.
• Manage a patient caseload by providing one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring focused attention and effective communication.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote healing, enhance strength, flexibility, and mobility among patients.
• Implement and educate patients on customized exercise and wellness programs, promoting self-management and long-term wellness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment interventions accurately in our EMR system to maintain a thorough record of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive care strategies for each patient.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive environment that supports recovery.
• Continually assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Support the implementation of non-surgical alternatives to pain management, aiming to reduce reliance on medications.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist, with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to ensure efficient patient care documentation.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying updated with the latest practices and therapies in physical rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Background in developing and implementing wellness and fitness programs is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary team environments, collaborating with various healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
