Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to the health and welfare of the communities we serve. You will utilize a virtual outpatient office setting equipped with the latest telehealth technologies, enabling you to connect with clients efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments with new clients to understand their mental health needs and establish tailored therapy plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and transfer summaries, to track client progress and adjustments in treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Department to implement specialized programs and initiatives addressing community mental health needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to expand expertise and stay updated with LMFT requirements, ensuring compliance with current guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will support a diverse range of clients presenting with various challenges, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space where clients feel understood and empowered to navigate their mental health journeys. Community engagement is a key component of this role, as you'll also work towards building local resources for preventive mental health services.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this position.
• You must be a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with up-to-date requirements and supervision guidelines.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and a variety of mental health services is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with teletherapy platforms is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience in community mental health initiatives or program development.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating a strong aptitude for collaboration and team building.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks to manage competing deadlines efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
