Private Equity Vice President

Our client is a Chicago-based private equity firm focused exclusively on the health and wellness industry. The firm partners with founder-led and entrepreneur-owned businesses across fitness, nutrition, wellness, and consumer health , providing strategic and operational support to help companies scale while preserving the qualities that made them successful. The team invests in businesses with strong brands, recurring customer relationships, and meaningful long-term growth opportunities. The firm is looking to add a Vice President, Investments to its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private equity investor to take on a leadership role within a lean, collaborative team, working closely with the Partners on all aspects of the investment process. As a Vice President, you'll lead the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, oversee financial modeling and due diligence, negotiate transaction terms alongside senior leadership, and present investment recommendations to the investment committee. You'll also work directly with portfolio company management teams to help execute strategic initiatives, support operational improvements, evaluate add-on acquisitions, and drive value creation throughout the investment lifecycle. Given the firm's entrepreneurial structure, the role offers significant responsibility and direct exposure to senior decision-makers. In addition to leading transactions, the Vice President will play an active role in sourcing new investment opportunities, developing relationships with founders and intermediaries, mentoring junior investment professionals, and contributing to the firm's long-term investment strategy.
