Business Development Representative

About the Role

This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a venture-backed B2B SaaS startup focused on revenue retention for consumer subscription brands. Youll work directly under a Head of Sales with a strong track record of developing BDRs into closing roles helping build the outbound motion from scratch rather than inheriting a finished playbook.

What Youll Do

• Execute omnichannel cold outreach including cold calling emailing and LinkedIn to generate net-new introductory sales meetings.
• Help define and refine the outbound sales playbook alongside the Head of Sales including target personas messaging and sequencing strategy.
• Research prospective accounts to identify pain points and craft personalized relevant outreach.
• Collaborate closely with an account executive to build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline.
• Meet and exceed weekly activity KPIs with a clear path toward growing into a closing role.

What Were Looking For

• At least 6 months of experience as an outbound SDR or BDR in a B2B SaaS environment building and executing outreach campaigns.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity metrics such as calls emails and meetings booked.
• Hands-on experience with sales engagement platforms or CRM tools (for example Outreach Salesloft or HubSpot); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience prospecting and qualifying leads across multiple channels including email phone and LinkedIn.
• Familiarity with account-based selling (ABS) or account-based marketing (ABM) strategies is a bonus.
• Scrappy persistent and genuinely motivated to grow into a full-cycle sales career.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

This role is fully on-site five days a week in San Francisco California .
