Field Project Manager (Superintendent) Position: Field Project Manager (Superintendent) Location: Charlotte, NC Job Id: 500 # of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Oversee all on‑site project operations, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and site plans are met. Ensure personnel comply with ENTACT safety standards and programs. Implement and maintain quality of project plans. Maintain effective schedule and cost control. Plan and coordinate work at least two weeks in advance. Lead on‑site meetings with project staff, subcontractors and clients. Maintain accurate daily field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence. Communicate with craft employees, clients and ENTACT management. Respond promptly to site changes and challenges. Build and maintain strong client and project oversight relationships. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that interfere with job requirements. Experience managing multiple aspects of large‑scale environmental projects (e.g., excavation/backfilling, containment, dewatering, lead abatement, etc.). Exposure to the following technical areas is highly desirable: excavation/backfilling, cap and containment installation, dewatering & water treatment, lead abatement, MGP, coal ash impoundment, mine reclamation, active refineries, residential remediation, slurry wall installation, drilling, dredging, sedimentation and erosion control. Familiarity with equipment: excavator with GPS, bulldozer with GPS, loader with scales, water truck, man lift, scissor lift, articulated dump truck, generators, fleet vehicles and portable hand tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and Adobe Acrobat. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to conduct onsite meetings. Ability to interpret plans, specifications, budgets, safety policies and HR policies. Physical Demands & Visual Requirements Must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, use hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, keyboard; read and write reports; commute as needed; work in varying weather; meet the PPE requirements listed above; safe operation of motor vehicle and travel by air, car, train or bus; lift up to 25 pounds occasionally; meet visual acuity for computer and reading tasks.
