Full Stack Cloud Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. This role will own endtoend application and infrastructure development, contributing technical insight across design, build, and deployment activities.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Full Stack Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Own end to end development of applications using TypeScript and SQL, along with infrastructure code using Terraform.
• Participate in design and product discussions, providing technical guidance on implementation approaches.
• Independently manage and execute tasks using Azure DevOps boards in an Agile environment.
• Design and maintain cloud based distributed systems across AWS or similar platforms.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate across multiple enterprise teams to integrate on prem and cloud systems effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience working on distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Strong handson experience with TypeScript (5+ years) and cloud platforms such as AWS, with Python as a plus.
• Proven experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and endtoend ownership of applications and infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
