Full Stack Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Cloud Engineer to support the development and scaling of an Insurance Accounting System. This role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, serverless architecture, ETL pipelines, and full-stack application development. The ideal candidate will work closely with a lean and autonomous development team, contributing to application architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solution delivery while combining technical expertise with an understanding of financial business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume end-to-end ownership of application development using TypeScript and SQL, along with infrastructure code utilizing Terraform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services within AWS environments.
• Participate in design and product meetings, providing technical recommendations and implementation guidance.
• Develop and support serverless architectures, ETL pipelines, and relational database solutions.
• Collaborate across enterprise teams to support integrations between cloud and on-premises systems.
• Work independently while managing tasks and deliverables through Azure DevOps workflows.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure and application integrations.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with distributed architecture in AWS or other cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript development.
• 2+ years of experience working within enterprise environments.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and serverless computing concepts.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and relational database solutions.
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience integrating cloud-based systems with on-premises services.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently within collaborative enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on financial or accounting-related applications.
• Experience developing data visualization applications.
• Experience working with Snowflake databases.
