Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1

We are seeking an evening Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1 for SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital located in St. Louis, MO. This position reports to the Operations Manager 2 and will oversee a team of 25 housekeepers on the 2nd and 3rd shift (approximate start time 4 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation required. What You'll Do Drive client and patient satisfaction scores. Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department. Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director. Effectively manage the Unit Operating System. Support a diverse and inclusive workforce. What You Bring Experience leading and managing a team, with a track record of developing and motivating staff to exceed client and customer expectations in a healthcare housekeeping system. Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment (preferred). Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion. Ability to analyze data, present and communicate effectively to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees, and change management. Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines. Results- and safety-driven mindset. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
