Overview As a Territory Manager at US Foods, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping customer relationships and driving business growth throughout the West Suburbs region. You will nurture existing accounts, hunt new business, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer success. What You’ll Do Be the customer champion: Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team‑based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies. Drive sales success: Measure performance by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful presentations and tailored approaches. Collaborate within the team: Work with Specialists to pursue new accounts and with marketing, supply chain, and customer service for seamless delivery. Develop new business: Identify prospective customers using market intelligence, databases, trade shows and conferences. Manage deliveries: Ensure delivery schedules are met and troubleshoot any order process issues. Provide market insights: Share information on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors to add value for customers. Maintain mobility: Drive personal vehicle to conduct regular site visits and follow‑ups for customer satisfaction.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Daily outside the office, working in variable weather and temperature conditions. Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of sales experience preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and good motor‑vehicle record. Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities. Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold‑call new business. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals. Problem‑solving, organization, and negotiation skills. Team‑up mentality to collaborate with stakeholders. Tech‑savvy – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus. Ability to lift or carry up to 75 lb occasionally.
