Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: Rotating 12 hours, Days and Nights

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- 1+ Years of Experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- Epic Experience
- Experience with Adult and Geriatric Population
- Experience with Fresh Open Heart Surgery Patients (Preferred)
- Interpretation of Cardiac Rhythms (Preferred)
- Experience with Impella and Balloon Pumps (Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic care to patients and families throughout the life cycle.
- Execute standards of nursing practice, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinating care among disciplines, and delegating activities to other care providers as appropriate.
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
- Promote remarkable patient care through active participation in practice and implementation of leadership qualities.

Compliance / Notes:
- RNs may be required to float to other ICUs or medical/surgical units based on staffing needs.
- Every 3rd Weekend worked.
