Job Summary & Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit/department during the shift. The CNC directs, monitors, evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s vision, mission and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality patient care. Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and other managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Operationalise current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds and other initiatives to improve engagement. Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting and training new staff. Implement actions such as training, development, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labour in accordance with patient needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
