Job Title: Manager, Private Equity Fund Accounting

Locations: New York, NY (hybrid), Boston, MA (hybrid) and Union, NJ (hybrid)

How You Will Make an Impact

• Manage one or more key client relationships, ensuringtimelydelivery of all fund accounting and reporting deliverables

• Apply strongexpertisein alternative investment fund accounting, with a focus on private equity limited partnerships

• Lead and develop junior staff, including setting goals, providing ongoing coaching, and contributing to performance reviews

• Review fund governing documents (LPA, offering documents, side letters, IMAs) to ensureaccurateapplication of fund terms

• Oversee and review all transaction activity, including capital calls, distributions, accruals, and valuation adjustments

• Prepare and review workpaper files, capital account statements, investor allocations, and management fee calculations

• Build andmaintaindistribution waterfall modelsin accordance withfund terms

• Review financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures for accuracy and completeness

• Support and coordinate the year-end audit process in partnership with clients, auditors, and internal teams

• Assistwith tax reporting support and other client deliverables as needed

• Manage client expectations and coordinate timelines with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery

• Contribute to broader team and firm initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence

RequiredExperience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountingor related field

• 7+yearsofexperience in accounting, with a focus on alternative investment funds - private equity experience/fund of funds

• 2+ years of management/supervisory experience

What Sets You Apart

• CPA designation a plus

• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting, with an emphasis on investment partnerships

• Experience supervising one or two junior professional staff

• Provide significant input into hiring and termination decisions as well as providing continuous performance feedback to staff

• Hands-on management style with strong leadership skills and ability to develop junior staff

• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to multi-task

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills

• SungardInvestran experience a plus

• Team player mentality with the ability to work independently

New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between 82000 USD to 164000 USD. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 85000. USD to 155000. USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 160000 USD. In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company's discretion.
